Getty Picks R/GA as Agency of Record
London, UK, 1 March 2012—R/GA London is pleased to announce that it has been appointed by Getty Images, a leading creator and distributor of imagery, video and music, as its brand and digital agency of record.
R/GA London will work as a global strategic and creative partner across the entire Getty Images brand portfolio and will be responsible for developing further Getty Images’ brand and overall communications, as well as driving ongoing business success through new and innovative long-term platforms.
In recent years, Getty Images has expanded its product offering, which now includes content such as video and music, as well as the creative and editorial stills imagery that it is globally renowned for. Getty Images is looking to implement a communications strategy that will transcend all of its brands and products, while emphasising each of their key differentiators. As part of the partnership, R/GA London will address the core brands and products that sit within Getty Images’ portfolio, adapting and developing its strategies and the way in which its content is communicated. R/GA have been tasked with targeting Getty Images’ three key audience groups – media, agency and corporate.
