R/GA London is pleased to announce it has been O2’s lead agency for the concept, branding, interface design and measurement for the next phase of O2’s Priority Moments service. The next generation of Priority Moments will enable small local businesses up and down the country to create offers and experiences that are relevant, local and immediately redeemable, helping to drive footfall, build customer loyalty to all of O2’s 23 million customers.
With mobile devices becoming the ‘centre of your life’, consumers are increasingly using their handset to shop, watch, engage and participate. The Priority service portfolio now gives consumers access to their sporting passions through a recently announced partnership with Nike, Priority experiences in music tickets and also high street shopping – all exclusively by O2, for O2 customers. R/GA London’s strategy behind Priority Moments for small businesses was to focus more on helping the UK’s independent businesses grow, during the tough economic climate. Mobile technology has previously been too complicated or expensive to be a viable option for independent businesses and Priority Moments opens up this powerful marketing channel to them.
A completely self-service and free to use platform, Priority Moments enables small businesses with a location to select their own template, location, value and date of their offer. Creating an offer takes three minutes and is then submitted to O2 clearance and to be posted onto the service. This enables independent local retailers to create truly bespoke offers to suit their own business needs, the offers can be stopped or started at any given point, giving the user the flexibility and freedom to attract new customers, boost revenue and deliver more effective marketing to their customers.

With the potential to reach any of O2’s 23 million customer base, Priority Moments for small businesses delivers the peace of mind that they offers will drive footfall, increase loyalty and will only reach customers in the local area.
The service goes live on Monday July 23rd July and is available to all O2 mobile customers and free to any O2 small-to-medium business that wish to take part.
