Tania is a seasoned financial leader with 27 years of experience in both investment banking and data/information and media companies.
Most recently, she was global CFO of Reprise, the digital performance media agency of IPG Mediabrands. During her three years at Reprise, she worked closely with new leadership to transform the agency from a search and social media execution agency to a digital performance agency by upgrading talent and expanding the craft expertise, which resulted in an 20% increased in client satisfaction ratings and profitable growth. She also developed and launched Reprise Commerce, Reprise’s global eCommerce practice.
Tania spent the first decade of her career as an investment banker and private equity investor, where she led over 36 transactions and investments in middle-market companies while at JPMorgan and WPG, a private equity firm. She was on the Board of Directors of a handful of companies and worked closely with the portfolio company CFO and CEO to create shareholder value.
She then moved to the corporate side, and spent 9 years at McGraw-Hill, in various roles including head of M&A, head of FP&A, SVP of Finance for the Information & Media segment, and CFO of Businessweek. She led the sale of Businessweek to Bloomberg LP in 2009, and integrated the print and digital operations into Bloomberg, resulting in a return to 25% growth and 60% reduction in operating losses.
During the final third of career, before joining the IPG family in 2018, Tania held various CFO roles for private equity backed, growth companies in the technology, data and information sectors, including Gerson Lehrman Group, Dataminr and Rocketrip. She worked closely with the investors and Boards of Directors to execute on rapid growth of these companies.
Tania’s range of functional finance experience includes financial budgeting and planning, accounting, pricing, capital structuring, treasury, audit, tax, internal controls, system implementation, corporate strategy, M&A and facilities. She has also led Human Resources for six cumulative years as part of her executive functions. But most importantly she has been a trusted partner to CEOs and business leadership teams to partner together to execute profitable growth.
Tania has a B.A. from Columbia College and an MBA from Columbia Business School with Beta Gamma Sigma distinction. She lives in Darien, Connecticut with her husband, three children, five pets, foster dogs (from time to time) and loves to play the piano and run half-marathons.
