R/GA is looking for a Experience Design Director to join our growing Product and Experience Design (XD) team in Singapore.

They are driven to relentlessly investigate where real-life human needs and business opportunities intersect.

As Experience Design Director you’ll work side-by-side with the industry’s brightest minds and lead projects hands-on while providing the necessary direction and mentorship to your team members and getting experience on accounts that push boundaries and set new standards.

On any given day you might

  • Lead multi-disciplinary teams in the creation of best-in-class user experiences
  • Define business opportunities and translate insights into customer-facing experiences
  • Enable the creation of concepts, personas, user journeys, storyboards, system maps, user flows, wireframes, design systems and prototypes (low and high fidelity).
  • Drive and incorporate ethnographic research and hypothesis testing 
  • Manage 2-5 direct reports
  • Provide leadership, training, and mentorship to fellow Experience and Product Designers
  • Represent thought leadership internally and externally
  • Influence and uphold an inspirational, people-first culture

You’d be the right fit if you

  • Strive to develop simple and elegant design approaches to complex design problems
  • Have an outstanding understanding and demonstration of human-centered design principles
  • Use insight and research to inform decisions and connect work to strategic outcomes
  • Lead by example and are comfortable working directly with team mates and clients
  • Are organised, able to act independently, and thrive in a fast-paced environment with varying challenges across industries
  • Are relentlessly focused on crafting meaningful experiences that add real value to people’s lives and measurably move businesses forward

You bring

  • Several examples of successfully launched projects which demonstrate strategic, conceptual and creative thinking
  • 7+ years experience in Product/Service/Experience Design
  • 2+ years of people management experience
  • Demonstrated ability to lead the design of large and complex systems of interaction
  • Ability to communicate with grace and stay calm under pressure
  • Proficiency in Figma/Sketch, Miro/Whimsical, Framer/Protopie, or Maze/AB Tasty
