Our Brand Design & Consulting team combines their business, brand, and technology know-how to create a new type of consulting framework - one that focuses on helping companies leverage technology to create new business models and brand strategies for growth. 

As a Senior Verbal Designer, you’ll be partnering with Visual Designers and Experience Designers while working with the Executive Creative Director of R/GA, APAC and the Group Creative Director and Head of Verbal Design. Together you will apply strategic and creative thinking and skills on a range of projects and brands. 

Here’s what you should know if you want to be a Senior Verbal Designer at R/GA:

On any given day you might 

  • Push strategic and creative points of view on Brand Character, Brand Voice, and Messaging forward 
  • Write compelling copy across a variety of touchpoints, channels, and audiences
  • Write Brand Manifestos and Vision Statements 
  • Craft actionable direction for other writers to write on brand 
  • Collaborate with colleagues across disciplines on sharpening ideas and enhancing Business Transformation deliverables 
  • Present confidently and professionally to clients and internal teams, including executives
  • Contribute to holistic thinking about Brand Design, including how a brand acts, how a brand looks, and how a brand comes to life throughout an experience 
  • Contribute to the evolution of the Verbal Design discipline at R/GA 

The Ideal Person 

  • Has excellent strategic and creative writing skills 
  • Can define the tactical choices a writer makes to achieve a certain style 
  • Is open to contributing to a variety of endeavors, even outside of how a brand uses language 
  • Is a self starter, willing and able to jump in and get to making, experimenting, and solving 

You bring 

  • A love of big, business and world-changing ideas, and a desire to contribute to shaping them 
  • 4+ years experience in brand, writing, or similar industry 
  • A working knowledge of Keynote and Microsoft Office programs 
  • Excellent presentation skills

Bonus points 

  • Knowledge of other languages



This role can be performed remotely anywhere in the United States with the exception of Alabama, Hawaii, Indiana, New Mexico, Pennsylvania, and Tennessee.

 

The hiring range for this position is $95,000 to $105,000. Where an employee or prospective employee is paid within this range will depend on, among other factors, actual ranges for current/former employees in the subject position; budgetary considerations; tenure and standing with the company (applicable to current employees); as well as the employee’s/applicant’s applicable skills, pertinent experience, and qualifications.
