About the Role
As the Director of Growth and Client Engagement at Addition, you are the engine that drives our new business and organic growth process. Working closely with our business development team, you will orchestrate and manage the sales process, qualifying warm leads, managing the pitch and proposal process, and collaborating with clients and company leadership to ensure that relationships are set up for long-term success.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Qualification & Engagement: Partner closely with the outbound business development team to evaluate, qualify, and transition warm leads into opportunities.
- Pitch & Proposal Management: Own the new business pipeline. Coordinate internal teams (creative, tech, leadership) to build winning pitch decks, write compelling proposals, and run highly effective pitch meetings.
- Client Education: Act as an ambassador for Addition’s capabilities, clearly and confidently educating prospective clients on our offerings, frontier AI technologies, and how we solve enterprise problems.
- Commercials & Contracting: Define project parameters, draft Scopes of Work (SOWs), and confidently negotiate pricing and contract terms to close deals.
- Sales Enablement: Manage the ongoing creation and refinement of Addition’s sales collateral, including detailed case studies, credentials decks, and capabilities overviews.
- Thought Leadership & Content: Oversee the creation and distribution of thought leadership pieces and social content that elevate Addition’s market presence and attract inbound interest.
Qualifications
- Experience: 6+ years of experience in client services, partnerships, and/or sales at a leading digital agency, technology, or innovation firm.
- Proven Track Record: Demonstrated experience successfully managing and closing a $10M+ new business pipeline.
- AI Literacy: A fluent, conversational understanding of frontier AI technologies and how they apply to enterprise business problems.

- Ability to Travel: Willingness to hit the road for face-to-face meetings. An average of 5 days per month of travel will be expected.

*This role is based in NYC. Candidates must be located in NYC or willing to relocate before their start date. This position offers a hybrid work model, but regular in-person collaboration is expected.
The total compensation range for this position is $150,000 to $250,000, which includes a mix of base salary and commission. Where an employee or prospective employee is paid within this range will depend on, among other factors, actual ranges for current/former employees in the subject position; budgetary considerations; tenure and standing with the company (applicable to current employees); as well as the employee's/applicant's applicable skills, pertinent experience, and qualifications.
