About the Role
We are seeking a Fullstack Senior Software Engineer with with strong AI-based development workflow (claude/codex/gemini), knowledge on TypeScript, frontend web frameworks (Next.js), Python backend (FastAPI framework) or Node.js (NestJS is a plus) and backend integrations to join our engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for building scalable, high-performance web experiences that serve global audiences. You will act as a core code contributor within a broader team, moving beyond simple feature implementation to architecting reusable systems, performing rigorous code reviews, and ensuring the seamless integration of diverse technologies. The ideal candidate is a web specialist who understands the full software development lifecycle and is passionate about delivering high-quality, production-ready code in a collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities
On any given day, you will:
- AI Agent Development Workflow. You will be leveraging AI agents, ie Claude, Codex, to maximize your expertise across the work.
- Fullstack Engineering: You build across the entire stack, with a backend foundation in Python (FastAPI), NestJS/Node.js, and GraphQL, paired with a frontend built in TypeScript, Next.js, and React. You're equally comfortable designing API layers and the interfaces that consume them
- Architect & Build Fullstack Solutions: Design and develop end-to-end web applications that serve a global audience
- Modular Component Development: Build and maintain scalable, modular component libraries designed for use in composable architectures, enabling rapid assembly of new features and pages.
- Collaborate with Design & Product Teams: collaborate with designers to assess design specifications, product requirements, and translate those into technical specifications.
- CMS Implementation: Deliver web experiences leveraging enterprise-grade CMS platforms, translating complex content models into seamless authoring experiences and dynamic frontend displays.
- System & API Integration: Seamlessly connect frontend interfaces with backend services and third-party solutions via REST APIs, SDKs, and custom-built libraries.
- Architect & Build API: Backend REST API services using modern frameworks such as FastAPI (Python), NestJS, or Node.js
- Cloud and Deployment Savvy: You're comfortable shipping and running applications on modern cloud platforms such as Vercel (for frontend and serverless deployments) and Google Cloud Platform (for backend services, containers, and managed infrastructure).
- Accessibility & Localization: Ensure every user has a first-class experience by implementing a11y standards (WCAG) and managing multi-region localization best practices.
- Documentation & Technical Mapping: Create documentation to ensure technical clarity, supporting long-term maintenance and team scalability.
- Peer Mentorship & Code Quality: Lead rigorous code reviews and provide mentorship, upholding high standards for TypeScript patterns, CSS architecture, and overall system health.

- The Complete Architect: You are a seasoned fullstack developer who thrives on technical challenges across the entire stack, from refining CSS transitions on the frontend to planning API integrations and backend services for dynamic modules.
- Framework & Language Fluent: You have deep expertise in TypeScript and modern frontend frameworks (such as Next.js, React or Vue), a strong Python or Node.js backend background, and you understand how to bridge frontend and backend with robust, well-structured logic.
- Composable Mindset: You don't just build pages; you build systems. You're passionate about creating reusable components and services that are flexible, performant, and easy for other developers to use across both the frontend and backend.
- Large-Scale Web Delivery: You understand the rigor that goes into delivering and maintaining scaled flagship web experiences for major brands, including release orchestration, working closely with QA to remediate issues, and operating in an agile environment alongside a scaled team of other talented developers.
- Detail-Oriented Craft: You have a passion for product quality, ensuring your code is not only functional but also clean, maintainable, and well-tested across the full stack, and you can work autonomously to hold yourself and your work to a high standard.
- AI-Enabled: You're comfortable leveraging AI code-assist tools to accelerate your workflow and are interested in integrating AI services where they add genuine value to efficiency, productivity, and quality.
You Bring
- Fluent English
- 5+ years of professional experience in fullstack software engineering, with a strong portfolio of production-grade web applications.
- Advanced proficiency in TypeScript, modern CSS (Sass, CSS Modules, or Tailwind), and state management libraries.
- Hands-on experience with enterprise CMS platforms (e.g., Contentful, Brightspot, or AEM) and a deep understanding of building modular components within them.
- Web Standards Expertise: Deep knowledge of accessibility (WCAG) and localization (i18n) implementation strategies.
- API Proficiency: Strong ability to design and consume RESTful and GraphQL APIs.
