Senior Copywriter_Japanese copies

Our Copywriters are exceptional writers who love connecting strategy with language. They're fluent in setting the brand voice and telling the brand story. They’re digital natives and have mastered the art of writing in multiple styles for various channels. They would have full experience in working on traditional media and also have touched on content and information design and have crafted their copy on.

As a Senior Copywriter, you’ll be reporting to the Creative Director and working closely with Visual Design team UX/UI team and Strategy teams to apply strategic and creative skills to brand, product, and experience projects.

Here's what you should know if you want to be a Senior Copywriter at R/GA:

On any given day you might

  • Concept and collaborate with other teams, including Visual Designers, Experience Designers, Producers, and Tech Leads
  • Ensure that the brand story is expressed verbally across different touch points. This discipline is known within R/GA as Verbal Design. Verbal Design capabilities include:
    • Contributing to holistic thinking about Brand Design, including how a brand communicates and comes to life
    • Build out creative brand voice concepts and articulate rationales behind them
  • Manage the quality of copywriting deliverables both in Japanese ensuring they meet R/GA standards and client expectations
  • Ensure creative concepts and copy tones are on brand and strategically sound
  • Comfortably and confidently present concepts and copy to clients both in Japanese and English

The ideal person

  • Excellent creative writing ability and a strong knack for communication strategy
  • Native level Japanese and fluent to business level English
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced and multi-cultural environment
  • Has a collaborative work ethic and easy going nature
  • Self-motivated and enthusiastic team player
  • Can juggle multiple projects/tasks at once
