The Talent Experience Specialist - Global Mobility will be responsible for ensuring a best-in- class employee experience for employee moves (transfers, relocations, etc.) within the United States and support the Talent Experience team as they further define and refine what mobility experiences look like at R/GA.

Reporting into the Talent Experience Lead in Buenos Aires, with a dotted-line into the Specialist, Global Mobility in New York, this role will partner across the verticals of the Talent Team, Business Operations, hiring managers, and immigration counsel to support all activities related to the movement of employees throughout the United States, and partner closely with local market contacts in EMEA, LATAM, Brasil, and APAC.

The Specialist’s main areas of responsibility will include execution of employee transfers, global tax, immigration + visa support, relocation, and onboarding.

Employee Transfers

  • Maintain the Global transfer tracker and Relocation Assistance tracker

  • Regularly inform Talent Partners and Talent Management teams on status of

    employee transfers in internal systems (HRLink, Reporter, etc.)

  • Draft transfer letters for talent team review

  • Coordinate with local Payroll teams to ensure transfers are captured

    appropriately in the HR system

  •  Routinely measure employee satisfaction with transfer experience

  •  Provide real-time data to Talent Leadership team

Relocation

- Collaborate with receiving Talent Partner and Talent Team to ensure a smooth transition to employee’s new location

Immigration + Visa Support

  • Coordinate kick-off meetings with relocating employees to discuss their case

  • Coordinate travel logistics for relocating employees

  • Assess immigration case viability with support from outside counsel for all new hire visa, renewal visal, and green card cases

  • Collaborate with Talent Partner, Hiring Manager, Talent Acquisition Partner (for new hire cases) and Finance Partner to approve costs for immigration + visa support

  • Coordinate visa intake meetings with employees to orient them to the process and their responsibilities throughout

  • Maintain visa candidate files and tracker to ensure that employees on working visas are current and in compliance with state and federal law

  • Respond to inquiries from current and future visa support candidates

  • Manage immigration cases for employees at R/GA

    You Have:

  • 3-5 years’ experience of human resources/employee mobility experience.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Management or Communications (or

    equivalent experience)

  • Passion and interest in people, immigration and/or employee movement

  • Broad understanding of US visas and immigration process

  • Demonstrated ability to build trust and confidence at multiple levels in an organization

  • Demonstrated ability driving pragmatic decision-making in a collaborative, fast-paced,

    team-based environment

     Ability to learn quickly and on-the-fly as needed
  • Experience with HR systems (PeopleSoft, Greenhouse, WordPress) a plus

  • MS Office skills (PowerPoint, Excel, Word) required, Google Drive for Work experience a

    plus

  • Strong customer service skills and the ability to provide world-class service to employees

    at all levels

  • Solution-focused and able to proactively identify potential issues

  • Keen eye for detail

  • High bar for ethics and commitment to confidentiality/handling sensitive information

  • Superb communication and writing skills; mastery of the English language
