Buenos Aires, November 30, 2020 – For the second consecutive year, R/GA Buenos Aires has been recognized at the Jerry Goldenberg Awards. This year, they were recognized as the Best Digital Transformation Agency in Argentina.
The event is organized by the editors of Dossier and recognizes agencies, creative work, teams, and talent in communications.
"This award comes in a year in which transformation was key for every company around the world. It is a recognition for our work, our talented teams, and our clients who give us the opportunity to do it," expressed Bruno Rovagnati, SVP Managing Director SS LATAM
During 2020, R/GA Buenos Aires worked alongside Patagonia Brewery to help the craft beer community in the southern city of Bariloche. Together, they faced the challenges caused by the pandemic by launching Comunal, a gin made from the distillate of the beer barrels that were not going to be sold.
R/GA also partnered with the Asociación de Cooperativas Argentinas (ACA) in a consulting and transformation project. This work included the development of an app that offers farmers a holistic smart-farming tool to help them make their crops more efficient based on cloud, AI, machine learning, and big data.
At the same time, the company tapped into its expertise in the fintech industry to help the four most important banks in Argentina design MODO, a completely new app that allows users to make financial transactions from their phone, aiming to eliminate the use of cash and cards.
2020 also meant growth for R/GA. The company won new clients such as Kimberly-Clark, Luigi Bosca, and Johnson & Johnson, consolidated its collaboration with existing clients as Alpha and Sura, and incorporated new talent with different backgrounds and skill sets.
