As the financial landscape in Hong Kong is reshaped through disruptive technologies and new entrants, R/GA partnered with Mox Bank Limited (“Mox”) to help re-imagine a leapfrog digital banking experience to help Hong Kongers achieve financial progress and success.
Mox is the new virtual bank in Hong Kong by Standard Chartered in partnership with PCCW, HKT and Trip.com. It is the combined power of a leading international bank, the city’s telecom and lifestyle leader and Asia’s largest online travel agency.
R/GA put together a multidisciplinary team of business, brand and experience strategists to uncover disruptions facing the banking industry, identify the most valuable customer, their unmet needs and value to the bank. These insights resulted in the creation of a purpose-led customer proposition for the bank. The Brand & Experience innovation teams comprising visual, verbal and experience talents worked iteratively to craft a distinct brand experience system to bring the vision to life.
The design delivery team also became a natural extension of Mox’s own product teams, with designers and producers embedded to enable the bank to transform from within. R/GA set the foundations of Mox’s digital experience, by defining the use of color, type and imagery to create a visual system that is accessible, scalable, desirable and truly unique. This visual system coupled with user centric principles, ensures that every interaction a user has with Mox is consistent and purposeful.
The result is a virtual bank that can help everyone in Hong Kong grow their money, no matter how small they start or how big their goals.
